Dive Course
WASE Rescue Diver Course
COURSE INFORMATION
During a WASE Rescue Diver course you learn how to recognize possible problems and prevent them before they become potentially dangerous, and, in case of a problem, to manage situations effectively. In addition to being a more attentive dive buddy, a rescue diver is also a safer diver.
The first day of the course consists of pool exercises and class theory. You will learn to assist a panicked diver, bring a diver who has lost consciousness to the surface and give mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. During the theoretical part you will learn to identify the stress signals in a diver and to minimize the risks associated with different diving emergencies.
The second and third days were spent on the boat or on the beach simulating underwater emergencies, conducting research, learning how to make the best use of available resources, administering oxygen and artificial ventilation techniques in the water. The instructor will take you by surprise by simulating possible emergency situations!
After completing the WASE Rescue Diver course and obtaining the relevant patent, together with five WASE Specialty levels, you can enroll in the WASE Master Scuba Diver course. This is the highest qualification among non-professional ones within the WASE system for underwater training. Reaching the level of WASE Master Scuba Diver will demonstrate that you will have achieved a remarkable degree of experience and preparation in a large variety of underwater environments.
